But Sandy keeps buying things. Just lately we have gotten in a selection of vintage rhinestones,
including some vintage Swarovski rhinestones. Look for these to be up on the website soon. (I'm
working as fast as I can.)
In the meantime, we are having a sale on website orders, 25 % off the entire on-line order over $50.
Take advantage of the opportunity to stock up! Sale ends November 30, 2014. And remember shipping is
FREE on orders over $50.
As if it weren't enough that Sandy bought all those buttons we are still sorting out, then he
went and bought pallets and pallets of vintage plastics. We have gotten some of these unpacked
and sorted out and up on the web, so you might want to take a look. Check the catalog for
plastic other items, plastic pieces and jewels, and cabochons / plastic. There are some very
interesting things we have found - things to make barrettes for hair, cool things we can't figure
out the purpose of, some 1960's looking cabochons, and more. There were also some ceramic
cabochons in interesting designs, a few more glass beads and flower rondels, and some wood pieces.
We are still adding things to the web site, so check back with us frequently.
Sandy mentioned the possibility of a sale on the plastics in the future, but nothing definite yet,
so keep it a secret for now. We should send out an email about the sale when it happens, so make
sure you are on our email list... Let us know the area you are in, and we will also tell you about
shows in your area, so you can see all the fabulous things that don't make it to the web site!
SO, well, we still have not gotten through all the 300,000 POUNDS of buttons from the factory
Sandy bought out, but we keep working on it. We are shifting things to a new, larger warehouse,
where we can get to and open up all the pallets of buttons. We should be digging out more for
you as the fall progresses - stay tuned for more details...
In the meantime, let us know what you need, and we will try to find them for you.
Designers and wholesalers, if you can visit our warehouse in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area and
purchase $2000 or more, we will contribute up to $200 for your air fare or travel expenses.
Please contact us for details and to arrange an appointment. Our jam-packed warehouse has
many unique items that do not make it to shows or our web site - you may find just
what you need!
We are currently offering free parcel post shipping within the United States
on orders over $50. Free shipping DOES NOT apply to spools of chain.
Click on Events and Shows to see what we have coming up. We'd love to
see you when we are in your area. If we have your email address we can let
you know when we will be around. Or you may wish to make advance arrangements to pick
up your order at a show. Let us know what you need.
Remember that due to show schedules, we may sometimes get a little behind in responding to your
requests. Rest assured, your business is important to us, and we will respond to you as soon as
we are able. Thanks!
Beads By Sandy is one of the largest collections of vintage beads in the country.
We have beads that date from 1910 to the 1980's. We have bought several
basements and warehouses in New York City and throughout the country.
We buy and sell entire lots of excess
inventory. We have low prices and sometimes can offer a discount for quantity
orders. Our minimum
purchase requirement is $50 for your total order.
Our beads are not
all washed or strung on perfect strands....
are mostly just as we found them (a lot with the original packaging and with
tags such as "Czechoslovakia" or "Inspected by the CIA"). Our beads are vintage,
unusual, and are priced incredibly low. We hope you enjoy shopping with us!
